MUSEUM OF IMPRESSIONISMS COLORS GARDEN

The Musée des Impressionnismes Giverny is surrounded by entrance free gardens.

The gardens are open daily from May 1st to July 13th, 2009 from 10 am to 6 pm. 
The gardens are open daily except mondays from July 14th to October 31st  2009 from 10 am to 6 pm.

The gardens are divided into small spaces enclosed by hedges which constitute as many little "worlds". Each of the greenery rooms has its own harmony of colours and shapes.

THE CHATEAU DE MISEREY GARDEN

Rue des Aerostiers, 27930 Miserey.  Open 2:30 p.m. - 6 p.m., in April from Friday through Monday; from May 1 through August 15, on Sundays, Mondays and bank holidays. From the 2d Sunday of September through November 1, open on Sundays. Admission : 6 euros.

The park features a contemporary garden on the theme of Hell, Purgatory and Heaven: prickly bushes and urticant plants represent hell, which is separated from paradise and its thornless roses by an alley of yews symbolizing purgatory. In Springtime, 30,000 bulbs bloom in the park.
