At less than 10 minutes from Giverny, overlooking the Seine, La Gueulardière offers you an original environment for a pure moment of relaxation. This restaurant dates back to the end of the 19th Century. It is called "La Gueulardière" since 1935. It is a family owned restaurant since 1964.

Why Gueulardière ? Originally, a 'Gueulard' is a guy who likes to eat, drink and ... shout.

Large traditionnal Norman masonry built in 1880, you will also appreciate the comfort and elegance of its contemporary decoration by Marie Berolatti .

According to the season, the Geulardière's restaurant welcomes you on the terrace which overlooks a shaded garden or close to the chimney at the lounge for pre-dinner drinks.

On Sunday afternoon, from April to August, you can also enjoy the terrace and the garden at tea time. The garden is safe for your children .

You will enjoy a varied and greedy cuisine with specialities such as blue cheese with caramelized pears over a roasted slice of bread, home-made foie gras, Gueulardière beef filet, fresh scallops. A generous cuisine inspired by our grand-mother's recipes and contemporary tastes respecting the seasons' products. A large choice of 50 wines from 12 euros.

A quick lunch formula at 17 euros is proposed from Tuesday to Friday.

After dinner you can relax in the lounge, have a drink with friends, or taste a cigar. A rare selection of whiskies is available.

Each month, a special event is scheduled, especially friday or saturday evening (magic, live music, dance floor, pinao bar). Please feel free to contact us and get the latest news.

Sunday for lunch.
Closed on Sunday evenings and Mondays.

Booking is highly recommanded on Saturday

On Motorway A13, exit on junction # 14 called Giverny, then follow direction Vernon, (do not follow "Bonnières Centre"), after Jeufosse village, you enter into Port-Villez, slow down, we are just on your left in the turn.

Access from Vernon :

Take N 15 direction Bonnières, you enter into Port-Villez, slow down, we are just on your right in the turn.
