Hiramatsu Reiji, Symphony of Water Lilies

Hiramatsu Reiji is a Japanese artist who has been inspired by Monet's water lilies pond and Giverny for many years.

A master of the Nihonga technics, the traditional Japanese painting, he translates Monet's favorite impressionist motif into his own delicate and dreamy world.

After the success of the 2013 exhibition dedicated to Hiramatsu Reiji, the musée des impressionnismes Giverny presents this year 14 newly acquired folding screens by the Japanese artist, focusing on the theme of the seasons.
