Visitors immediately feel at home at Chateau de la Madeleine, a magnificent mansion under restauration only ten kilometers from Giverny and Claude Monet's gardens.

Far from the image of imposing castles, its atmospheric bohemian spirit is very relaxing.

Your host Paul-Stephane Clermont still adds his contribution to the renovation of La Madeleine undertaken by his parents. He will do his best to welcome you himself and answer your questions. 

A dramatic staircase leads to the two spacy suites for the guests located on the upper floor of the castle proper. They offer a casual decoration, mix of family furniture and modern countryside pieces. 

You will soon find your markers in the tortuous corridors and the numerous levels. Feel free to explore the Grand Style salons.

You will then feel ready to explore the estate, a very natural looking park made out of meadows ans woods that slopes down to the Seine River.

If you prefer a quiet moment, the porch adornated with columns in italian style and mosaics is the perfect place to sit down in the shade with a good book, facing the panoramic view on the Seine valley.

A foot in the past, the other one in the present, enjoy: you are elsewhere!

Your guests owns two dogs and may admit your own pets on specific request.
