| Welcome to the farm ! At Veronique and Bernard's place, you are at the
entrance of Vernon, a few steps
from the famous Bizy castle, 9 km from
Monet Museum in
Giverny.
The farm belonged to the domain of the castle of Bizy, property of the Duke d'Albufera. It has been in Bernard's family for three generations. The buildings date back to the 19th Century. The bell which was used to gather the workers at lunch time can still be seen on the roof. Close to the farm, the wood invites to linger in the shadow of the trees. On the other side begins the country side with the fields of cereals and flax grown cultivated by Bernard. Two large bedrooms have just been fitted out in the main house, opening onto a flowerished vegetable garden. A billiard table and a table-tennis table are at your disposal. Open all year round. Closed car park in the estate. No smoking house. |
