I hoped to see Monet's garden, but I found out that the garden is closed! I've never visited this page, but from this moment as far as I could I'll visit to aware of the new things that will be added.

Le 15 juillet 1997, plus de 75 Barrette d'Amérique ont eu le bonheur de séjourner
dans les magnifiques jardins de Giverny et de mieux connaître Claude Monet. Quelle
beauté !
Puis la rencontre mémorable à l'Hôtel de ville de Vernon qui a confirmé l'étroite
parenté entre le célèbre maire bâtisseur de Vernon, Adolphe Barette (1836-1898) et
le Québécois Jean-Luc Barrette de St-Raymond-de-Portneuf, membre du conseil d'administration de
l'Association des Barrette d'Amérique. Deux sosies incroyables malgré des gènes éloignés
par plus de 400 ans !!! MERCI au maire Asphe et aux Vernonnais pour la chaleur de leur
accueil ! Ce n'est qu'un «au revoir» car il y aura d'autres voyages de retour aux sources
normandes. Bravo pour ce beau site internet et longue vie à GiVerNet !

We're planning a trip to Paris Nov.21-30 and were disappointed to read that Monet's home and the gardens of Giverny are closed then. Is it possible to see the gardens and house from a fairly close vantage point? Would like to hear from anyone who has been there during that same time period.

I am a third grade student, and I will be visiting Giverny this summer. I am very interested in Monet, and hope to be seeing some of the places he painted.
