This apartment is located right in the center of Vernon, at a 5 minute walk from the train station, the shops and Vernon Museum.

It is perfect to accommodate a couple or a couple with child.

Peaceful on the courtyard side

The flat is on the 4th and last floor (with lift) of a modern residential building. It is conveniently located on the main street of the town, and yet quiet and peaceful because it is oriented towards the back of the house.

The Painter's Apartment

This flat was furnished and decorated by the painter Sylvie Fauvel Cabal as her "Pied A Terre" in Vernon, a town where her family has been living for several generations.

The apartment is made of:

  • A living room with video and Hi-Fi systems.
  • One double bedded room with ensuite dressing room and bathroom with shower, extra bed.
  • Fully equipped open-plan kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, oven, hobs, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, food processors, electric kettle, coffee maker, toaster, etc.
  • An entrance with cupboard, separate toilet.
  • A terrace including a small lounge with table, an easel for those who wish to draw/paint.

Renting fees also include:
  • A baby cot and a high chair
  • Private car park with digital entry lock

Sylvie Cabal

Settled in Hautot-Saint-Sulpice where she has her studio, Sylvie Cabal travels a lot, especially to New York and Taiwan where she teaches her favorite technics, pastel drawing.

She is deeply attached to Giverny since her childhood spent in the vicinity of Monet's house. Actually it is a pastel drawing of a Nymphea that she painted on the motif in the water garden of the master that earned her first painting prize. She organizes the international pastel exhibit every year at Giverny.

Sylvie's personality is also found in the decoration of her flat, where the numerous paintings are often changed.

Rates 2012 for the self catering renting fees
