André TISSOT Landscape
|
André Tissot was taught painting by a passionated old painter who lived in Savoie, near the Swiss border. That's why he began by featuring mountains and lakes landscapes. He organised exhibitions in the Alps.
After many years without touching a brush, the scenery of Monet's gardens in Giverny bring him back to painting. André Tissot has settled down in the vicinity of the Master's estate. The waterlilies pond and the flower garden are an endless source of inspiration for him, as well as they were for his famous predecessor.
André Tissot's works can be seen each year in " l'Atelier Fleuri ", a boutique located in front of Fondation Monet in Giverny, near the hotel la Musardière.
