A charming little village near Gisors, not far from Paris (45 mn) and
from Beauvais international airport (30 mn) : the pretty cottages of Thibivillers
border streets full of lawn and flowers. Thibivillers won the first price
of the flowerished villages contest the first year it entered the competition!
At la Mohinette, you will enjoy the quietness of country life. The guest house opens onto a calm street and a big garden. This ancient farm dating back to the 18th century was at the same time one of the village's pubs. Today, this tradition of hospitality goes on with the B&B accomodation and 'table d'hote.' |
| Marie, who was born in Belgium, chose the Walloon word "Mohinette" to
name her home. It means "little house", but actually, the house is not that
little: three rooms are at your disposal, a family suite and a double room.
There is also a sitting-room in the guests' house.
You will feel relaxed as soon as you arrive. Marie has a special gift for a soft and warm welcome. Her home reminds everybody of childhood memories. In the evening you can have dinner at the 'table d'hôtes'. Marie prepares a tasty cuisine mainly with products from her kitchen garden and orchard 25 euros per person (apetizer, first course, main course, cheese, desert, drinks included). On demand menu proposals will be emailed. Kid Menu (under 10 years old) : 5 euros. During the family dinner, you will have time to ask for advice on what to see the next day, for instance the painters villages of Gerberoy, Giverny and Auvers sur Oise or the castles of Gisors and Chantilly. |
