This authentic norman mansion built in the 17th century is currently being restored. It is located in a natural setting at the border between Vernon and Giverny. Monet's home is within walking distance (30 mn on the pedestrian path) or 3 minutes by car.
Your guests are so fascinated by the cultural treasures of the surroundings that they made it their professions: Ariane is a guide interpreter, and Alain is the webmaster of several sites on Claude Monet, Giverny and its area. They will help you in making most of your stay.

The Birds Room

Ideal accommodation for a couple or a family with small children.
You will stay in a wing of the main house, in  a 40m2 large room with ensuite bath.
Two rooms were merged to create a vast and luminous space. The antique furniture is ornated with hand-painted birds and flowers that gave its name to the room. The exposed beams and the poetic decoration make it a very atmospheric place.

The room is located on ground floor with direct access to the garden. Its stone walls keep it naturally rather cool in Summer. Private entrance.

The Birds Room has:

• Large double bed 160x200 cm.
• Single bed 120x190 cm
• Additionnal bed or baby bed on request.
• Dining area for a casual breakfast
• En suite bath with toilet.

2009 rates, breakfast included:

• 85 euros for 2 persons
• 20 euros per additional person (free for babies)
• Evening meal upon request: 20 euros per person
