Elodie and Eric are both art restorers : he gives their colors back to paintings, she repairs china. With this passion to bring antiques back to life, they embarked on a bit insane challenge : rescuing a 13th Century Historic Monument from ruin.

Thanks to large scale renovation works completed according to the ancient building methods, the Manor of the Chapter regained all its middle age character, with its twin windows, its oculi and its coats of arm.

Downstairs, a very pleasant double bedded room opens directly onto the garden. Upstairs, a wide suite with two bedrooms may accommodate up to 5 people.

The Manor is located in the quiet village of Ailly beside the church. From there you are only half an hour from Rouen museums, Claude Monet's Garden in Giverny , or from the castle of Richard the Lionheart in Les Andelys.

There are so many things to see, Eric and Elodie are so kind, one feels so well in their home that the end of your stay will come much too soon...
