A shop in a millOn the other side of the Seine river, in front of Giverny, "Le val d'Aconville" leads you to the villages of Blaru, Douains, Pacy... Once called the Mills road, the Val is still one of the most pleasant stroll in the area. Some of the mills still have wheels and special mecanism, for the others only a few details remind of their past glory. |
A contemporary way of lifeOn number 30, one of these old buildings now hosts a shop dedicated to today home decoration. ETXEA ('the house' in Basque language) displays cushions and bedspreads, fabric bags, dishes, tableclothes, vases and even toys... A special place ideal to find original presents. On two floors, a tastefull way of life is showed like in a real house. The very modern furniture is a creation of Marie Berolatti, she can realise her models at your measures on demand. |

Chabaud, a producer of southern France who elaborates delicate scents
thanks to traditional methods, striped linen from the Basque Country,
gourmets jams and coulis... Many surprises will be in store for the
shop visitors !
